The
Kiwanis Club of Seminole
is the premier professional and community service organization
in Seminole Florida. Our members are key decision-makers in
the community. They include lawyers, medical practitioners,
consultants, Realtors, computer specialists, funeral directors,
principals, accountants, entrepreneurs, contractors, small
business owners and retirees from all walks of life. Several
of our members are Canadian residents who participate in our
club during the winter months. Currently we have over 60 members.
The Board of Directors, which governs the Club, meets on the 1st Thursday of each month. The board is made up of the six officers and six directors.

Community Service: Being
a service organization, our credo
is "We Build," referring to our commitment to building
better communities. Kiwanians give their time
and resources to make Seminole a better place to live and
work. Our main focus is on children - primarily through outstanding
organizations such as The Horses
for Handicapped Organization. The Kiwanis Club of Seminole
Foundation contributes thousands of dollars per year to Tampa Bay charitable
endeavors.
Professional Development
and Friendships: Weekly meetings
and other contacts with fellow members are excellent opportunities
to develop business and professional relationships with leaders
in business, civic affairs, the military, not-for-profit
organizations and education and government. Visit our Kiwanians
in Business section. Kiwanians find that perhaps the
best benefit is the making of warm friendships that
will last a lifetime.
